I`m my previous post I talked about a blog that I like to read. The blog talks a lot about building your wardrobe on a budget without looking "cheap." I decided to do a little mini series on this and share some of the ideas I found in the blog along with my own ideas on the subject!
One way to save money but not look like it is to mix and match! Always make sure to use at least one niecer piece in your outfit and it will instantly transform the whole outfit. Now it is important to pay attention to things like fabrics and quality. If you have a polyster shirt, maybe wear it with a nice blazer or some nice skinny jeans and high quality pumps.
It is amazing how drastically a high quality piece of jewlelry or handbag can change an outfit. It is all about being mindfull. My goal is to always wear at least one high quality thing every day. Even when I am going to the gym. I may be wearing target workout clothes, but if I throw in my nike shoes- it looks like I spent a fortune on my workout gear... which I dont. Even my nike shoes came from TJmaxx... :)
