I`m working on a project that involves some seashells from our beach here in Florida. I was looking for small shells only, so even though they seem bigger in the photos, these shells are the size of my thumbnail or smaller. I looked up several tips on how to clean my shells and make their colors pop, but I didn`t have the supplies or patience to go get them. So I made my own cleaning trick instead and it turned out better than I expected.
All you gotta do is throw your shells in with some baking soda and vinegar. Let it sit until the fizzing is just about gone. That`s it. Super easy and takes not even 5 minutes for the whole process. Then just rinse the shells off in cold water and dry them off.
