How to make spring roll Filipino style (Lumpia)

Hey everyone!!! I just want to share my recipe for making spring roll (lumpia). My boyfriend asked me if I can cook Filipino food for him when he visit me (he`s in the marines and now in NC) and I thought of cooking Lumpia for him since its one of my favorite food to eat.

* 3 to 4 cloves of garlic
* half of vidalia onion
* celery
* black pepper and salt
* garlic powder (optional)
* ground beef
* ground pork
* 1 egg
* 3 tbsp. soy sauce
* carrots
* spring roll wrapper (available in asian stores)

-Finely chop the carrots, garlic, onion, and celery just like what i had in the picture.
-Then, them all together including the egg.
-Once they`re all mixed together, start wrapping them
-Make sure that each roll is not too big or else it won`t cook well..
-Once you get to the end of the roll, use egg white, or dampen the edge with water to help the wrapper seal.
-Deep fry the rolls and wait till the wrapper turns golden brown.


**you can also cook this with chicken, pork, beef, or mix beef and pork like what I did. and BTW don`t forget to buy sweet chili sauce while you`re at the asian market!! spring rolls goes well with that sauce! Hope this recipe helps, my boyfriend and his friends loved my spring roll so I decided to share it to yall. ;)
