A few months ago I decided to make cakepops for the first time. I had seen them all over and saw a lot of people tried making them homemade so I figured I would give it a shot too.
What I did was:
-Bake a normal vanilla cake
-After it`s done baking, crumble up the whole cake so its a big bowl of crumbs
-Add icing/frosting so its the crumbs can come together in ball formation and is a little squishy but not too oily
-Roll little balls of cake together and put lollipop sticks through the center
-Melt different color candy tops or chocolate tops (the colored ones are vanilla candy`s and the white is white chocolate and the brown is obviously regular chocolate)
-Dip each cake pop into whatever coating you`d like
- Before the coating dries, put a topping on: I did all different kinds such as crushed oreos, crushed graham crackers, regular sprinkles, shapes sprinkles
-You can stand them upright if you have a styrofoam block and can stick each lollipop stick through, but I didn`t and couldn`t think of a creative enough way to leave them upright so I had to rest them upside down in little mini muffin cups (wait till the chocolate almost fully dries and then place in and they won`t dent)
And that`s it ! I hope you try making them if you haven`t yet!
Do you like cakepops? Would you give baking them a try?
