Skincare products now range from gels, serums, and oils.
Here I will let you know what layers to apply in order.
First step is to apply serums: you want to apply the lightest product first, they have the smallest molecules so they need to be absorbed first so that they don`t get trapped by the larger molecules in thicker consistency products.
Second step is to apply a face cream it can be gel, lotion, or cream. You will want to `take small amounts and dab them on your forehead, nose, both cheeks, and chin.` and rub it all in gently
Third step and lastly you can apply eye cream and sunscreen. For eye cream you will want to take your ring finger (because it is the most gentle) and tap it onto your eye area. They say `the skin around your eyes are thinner than anywhere else on your face so avoid tugging because it will create lines.` Sunscreen must always go on last.
At night you will want to `layer retinol first, then antioxidants or lightening creams, then a cream on top` and the acne treatments for spot treating go on last.
I also recently watched a youtube video that talked about this so I will post the link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1imMMXZfBVQ
