How to: Cheap workout clothes

I am sure I am not the only one who like to dress nice (maybe not dress to impress) when I workout. There is surely something about dressing comfy yet nice when working out, it makes me feel good & motivated. Let me know in your comments if you feel the same way, too.

You do not have to spend $25-$40 for t-shirts, leggings, or shorts. Check out the link provided to make a racer back no sew tank top. You can do the project for free by cutting up old shirts or if you do not have, check out your local thriftstore (look out for their 50% off items or better yet, dollar days). It is best to find one that is one size up from your regular size, which gives you room for over cutting and for a better loose fitting end product.

For shorts, I found super cheap $6/each yoga shorts some are $5 for the cheerleader type bootie shorts that are great for running.

If you envy those crop running tights but cant afford to spit out $30+ for them, buy some breezy dark colored (black preferred) leggings from f21 because they seem to be cheap about under $10 for one. You can always use a loose fitting t-shirt and rough cut the bottom & neckline to turn it into an off the shoulder shirt plus cut it long enough to cover half your butt (if wearing leggings). ***TIP: try getting blacks & worn with dark undies. Avoid white & any other light color leggings.***

My current workout gears: 10 workout tanks & shirts for $10 (thank you Goodwill ), 6 pairs yoga shorts for $36 (Walmart), and a black leggings for $5 (Charlotte Russe Sale item). For the total, I would only be able to buy one t-shirt and a running shorts on Clearance at a Nike store or something.

Good luck DIY. Check out the link I provided, you will love her DIYs :)
