I love nail polish but... not the stains that come along with it. Fall is coming up which means we`re probably going to be using our dark colored polishes more frequent. As long as you remember to apply a clear base coat it shouldn`t be a problem because the base coat acts like a barrier from your nail and the polish. If you want to be extra safe try avoiding nail polishes which contain toluene. Even light nail polishes with toluene can stain nails. Now if your nails are already stained, brush them just like you would brush your teeth. Use the same toothpaste... not the same brush. If you do this for a couple days (about one minute per hand) you will see a difference. My other suggestion would be to combine lemon juice and a table spoon heated coconut oil. Massage the mixture onto your nails and cuticles and wash your hands afterwards of course. Doing this for a couple of days should also leave you with great results. Lemon juice has lightening properties and coconut is a good moisturizer for the nails and will increase the flexibility so they wont break as easy.
I hope these quick tips and tricks were helpful to you <3.
