This was the super cool hotel I lived in when I went to visit Shanghai.
It`s the Radisson Hotel in Pudong. When I went, which was a year and a half ago, it just opened so there was still a bit of construction outside.
A little bit about Shanghai, it`s separated into two different regions, Pudong (city central, like Downtown) and Puxi (suburbs). I prefer Pudong because it`s where all the expats live and I`m more comfortable around foreigners than I am with Chinese people.
My hotel room was awesome mainly due to the see through bathroom. You could see the skyline from your bathtub/toilet =P I always make a joke saying you could see the sunset while doing your business.
There are blinds though, so that you can separate out the bathroom view, that way, you still retain some privacy. You could also control the TV from the bathtub control system and there`s an internal sound system within the bathroom itself, which I found to be pretty cool.
The hotel costs about $150 - 200 USD a night, due to its location and the fact that it`s a "Foreign" hotel and not a Chinese one.
What do you guys think?
