I went to China/HK for about 2 and half weeks. During my week stay in HK (visit family, some sightseeing, good food) I did a lot of shopping. This post will be about my beauty haul. Just about every few blocks, and every mall, you`ll find a beauty store. Seems like a really popular thing there. And you can get so many asian products! without the jacked up prices from living in US/ordering online.
Top left: Skin79 BB Cream - Triple Function - was on sale 65% off - $8
have not tried it yet. but i had a sample before. It makes my face a lot paler when I put it on. I have pretty tan skin so it doesnt look too natural on me. I like to use it if i want to look brighter, especially when I cosplay. But for this price, I didnt mind buying one. Hopefully it`ll work like it says, whitening effect. Also has SPF 25 and Wrinkle Improvement.
Bottom Left: Asian lashes. There are still really expensive japanese lashes, and some really cheap ones. I jus chose a cheap one lol, these looked like cute demi lashes - 47% off - $4
Top Middle: Nail Jewerly - I always wanted to try it, just never bought any supplies. Since i see them in some shops, and theyre pretty cheap here I got some for starters. Box of clear crystals for $3.50, nail glue ($1) and a nail tool ($1)
Middle: Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara - I bought this the last time I came to HK and I loved it. It makes ur lashes really long, and literally adds fibers of fake lashes onto your eyes. cost $15. Sephora sells them now, but for $24! o_O
Middle Bottom: My friend asked to buy this for her. Cosmagic light brown brow - She likes to cosplay, so this is perfect to lighten up your brow color to match your hair/wig, cost $11
Right Top: Fairydrops Mascara - I heard a lot about this and wanted to give it a try. So far I really like it. It really lengthens my eyelashes. It clumps them together a lot though, not sure if I like that. And it is really hard to wash off, I think I just need to buy better eye makeup remover. cost $10! real cheap, compared to Sephora who now holds this product too, $24.
Bottom Right: Hada Labo Whitening Lotion - Another friend asked to buy this. Since it is cheaper here ($15) than at the japanese market ($20). She said its really popular in Japan. I was very tempted to buy it too, but I ran out of money at the end. And I break out easily, so i was a little wary about getting it. Maybe next time!
I may make a future post about some of the products I used here.
Next one will be my nail art :)
