So since I enjoyed the BBQ chicken pizza from several nights ago (found here: /viz/homemade-bbq-chicken-pizza) I decided to try another one, but vegetarian this time around. I`m really enjoying making these different pizzas. They`re turning out delicious! This one had totally different flavors from the BBQ one, but was just as satisfying. I started with the same crust as the BBQ chicken one. It is just a thin crust dough from the refrigerated section of the grocer. I unroll it onto a cookie sheet that has been lined in foil and sprayed with cooking spray. That is prebaked for about 6 minutes. After that I spread on some garlic alfredo sauce. I topped that with a thin sliced tomato, sliced mushrooms, and a few handfuls of fresh baby spinach. Then, I sprinkled on some garlic salt and some garlic powder. Next, I sprinkled on some Italian cheese blend and finally a dry herb mix. It is just an Italian blend of dry herbs. That went into the oven for about 13-14 minutes. OH MY GOODNESS it was amazing! It is so full of flavor! This was a fun twist to a typical veggie pizza. My son wasn`t too keen on the tomatoes but didn`t complain at all about the spinach or mushrooms. This is absolutely going into my rotation to make again at some point.
