Homemade Veggie Burgers with Juicing Leftovers

So my boyfriend bought me a juicer for Christmas which I was really excited about. After I juiced for the first time last week, I still had a lot of the fibery leftovers from the veggies and apples I juiced. I didn`t want to throw it out and had no compost to throw it into since it`s wintertime.. so I started thinking of what to do with them. To be honest, I got kind of lazy and decided that all of the recipes I looked up were too long so I told my dad, who`s a vegetarian to see if he could find a use for it. He found a recipe for homemade veggie burgers, the recipe of which gave you the freedom to put a variety of ingredients in. It looked like a big dirty mud pie, I`m not gonna lie, but it actually didn`t taste too bad. It wasn`t as salty as commercial veggie burgers so I tried adding more to it.. but still a little bland. Smelled really good, like the real thing though. It`s still nice.. And a great reuse of ingredients if you ask me. It made 6+ humongous patties and we just wrapped them up and popped them in the freezer for later.
