Buying healthy fresh fruit and veg may seem expensive but the benefits hidden within are massive. What people don`t realise is that you get what your pay for. Today for lunch, I went to a tiny little organic restaurant and ordered a bowl of organic tomato and basil soup with soda bread and was shocked and amazed to find out it only cost me 3.50. Usually soup is around 5 in restaurants and this is a very fancy healthy eating restaurant so I was shocked at how cheap it was. As I awaited my soup I wondered how bad it must taste or how small a bowl I would get but was surprisingly amazed at the big bowl that was placed in front of me. The bread was served with locally made butter and tasted like it was just fresh out of the oven. It was delightful. The soup was ever better. The texture was amazing and it was a burst of flavour in my mouth with every bite. The moral of the story I guess is that organic food restaurants are not always expensive and while looks can be deceiving about some of these "hippy type" restaurants, I highly recommend you give them all a second thought. For me I`m just looking forward to coming back here tomorrow!:)
