Homemade Rice Rolls

I love the Vietnamese rolls that they serve in restaurants, but I felt like they were overpriced. I pay about $2.50 for 2 rolls. I decided to give it a try and make them at home because I figured they can`t be that hard. I used some pork that I stir fried and added seasonings, such as hot sauce. I cut it into strips so it is easier to roll up. I cut up some cucumber and shredded some carrot as well. In addition, I added a bit of lettuce. I soaked the rice paper in water for too long initially and they were really hard to work with! I ended up just dabbing water on them and they were so much easier to roll. After rolling, I dipped the rolls in hot sauce because I like my food spicy :) Really delicious and for a fraction of the price compared to restaurants.
