I wanted to try making a red velvet for ages and this weekend I finally got around to it. Already started on friday by preparing the cheesecake for the middle part. It was mainly made out of cream cheese. I left it in the fridge over night so it would have a nice texture that`s not too flabby.
Saturday I baked the cake! when the dough was finished I was already disappointed because the coloring wasnt red like at all. So the cake would still be brown, maybe I used too much coacoa but I don`t know. When the cake cooled down I put all three parts together and coated it with white chocolate cream cheese frosting. Also put a little decoration on top.
All in all the cake wasn`t fluffy enough nor was the red color intense enough, but I`d say pretty good for a first try. I know what to improve next time.
