Hey everyone, I thought I`d show you how to make potato chips at home. It`s so easy and you most likely already have the ingredients.
What You`ll Need:
1.) Pour about one inch of the oil into a skillet and put it on medium-high heat.
2.) Clean, peel and thinly slice your potatoes. You can use a slicer or slice them by hand which is what I did. By the time you`re done, the oil should be hot enough. (TIP- put a piece of the skin into the oil and see if the oil bubbles up, if it does it`s hot enough!)
3.) Carefully add the sliced potatoes to the hot oil. If you want them crispier leave them on for a little longer, I left mine in the oil for about 1.5 minutes.
4.) Carefully transfer the hot chips to a papertowel to soak up the excess oil. Let them sit for about 30 minutes to get crispy.
5.) Season them however you like.
