About 2 days ago I was craving pizza and kind of low on funds. Luckily, during a random trip to the kitchen to see what I had, I remebered that I had gotten this pizza making kit at the grocery store last week.
Now before you judge my ugly pizza, keep in mind that this was the very first time I had ever attempted to make a pizza and to be quite honest, it was fun, I enjoyed making it. After I mixed the dough powder with some water and oil, allowed it to rise and layed it out onto the square baking sheet (I dont have a round one), I then poured on the sauce that came in the kit, the grated parmesan cheese that came in the kit and then added some shredded cheese I had in the fridge.
The box said to bake the pizza at 400 degrees F for 25 mins but as you can see from the last picture, that was a bit too long and the cheese was just a tab bit burned. It wasn`t to bad though, the pizza was still pretty good.
I topped it with a little garlic powder and enjoyed it. I believe the kit costed about $3.00 which is much cheaper then ordering a pizza or even buying a frozen pizza. I will def be buying this kit again, and I`ll remember to take it out of the over a bit sooner :)
Have any of you ever tried making a homemade pizza?
Have you tried this kit?
