Today I was in one of those baking moods but had no idea what to bake.So I was flipping through some cook book page and came across this very easy recipe for an upside down pineapple cake.
I had most of the ingredients available in my fridge...thanks to my husband who likes to shop for groceries all the time.
The recipe was pretty easy.you had to just prepare the cake batter like usual and for the glaze I used brown sugar mixed with butter.
Firstly I spread the brown sugar mixture in the pan and then laid down the pineapple pieces.Kept maraschino cherries in between and poured in the pineapple flavored cake batter.After that I baked it in the over at 350 F for 25 mins and once the cake cooled down, inverted it on a plate and voila..cake ready.
