Today my coworker brought some homemade oatmeal raisin cookies he had baked over the weekend. He said they weren`t good but I guess you are your toughest critic. The reason I say that is because they`re delicious.

It could be because homemade items are always that much more special than store bought. But what made them really good was the golden raisins rather than the regular raisins you usually see in oatmeal cookies. And he used nutmeg instead of cinnamon. Most of the time oatmeal raisin cookies taste overwhelmingly like cinnamon which is turn off. So this was definitely something different in a very yummy way.

Do you guys like oatmeal raisin cookies? If not, what is your favorite cookie?
