Homemade Henna tattoos

(picture not mine. Original post by MARISA DUNN )

Hey guys! I got this off of http://girlslife.com. I`ve never tried this myself so I`m not qualified to give out tips quite yet. I think it would be oh-so cute for the fall so if I do do it I will tell you how it all works out:) It is a pain free way to get a temporary tattoo that should last about a week. If you like it, comment!

What youll need:

1 cup water

2 teaspoons of coffee (black tea works, too)

3 teaspoons of sifted henna powder

1 teaspoon of eucalyptus oil

What youll do:

Step 1: Boil the water. Add 2 teaspoons of coffee to boiling water. Let it rest for a few hours, then use a strainer to remove coffee grounds. Put henna powder and eucalyptus oil in another bowl. Don`t mix it!

Step 2: Add coffee to bowl of henna and oil. For best results, transfer the coffee in spoonfuls. Instead of mixing ingredients together, press liquid into powder and oil with spoon.

Step 3: Let paint set for at least six hours, and no more than twelve. You want the henna dye to have the consistency of toothpaste.

Step 4: Apply the henna! Try doing cool patterns. You can apply it to your feet, hands and even stomach! Wherever you want it really. (but remember, a whole week!)

Hope you like (get the pun?:)
