Homemade Creme Brulee with Cinnamon

Creme brulee has to be one of my favorite desserts ever, specially the one that my mother makes at home.

Yesterday I asked her to make me some, since it has been a really long time since the last time that I`ve eaten some and, lucky me, she`s a cool mother and prepared creme brulee to eat as a dessert after dinner.

She used:
-5 egg yolks
-5 spoons of sugar
-5 spoons of cornstarch flour
-1 liter of milk

Then, she just mix the sugar, the egg yolks and the flour together until she has an homogeneous dough. Then, she puts it on a regular pan on low heat and she adds the milk... This will make the dough turn into a liquid. Then she keeps stirring until the dough gets viscous, with the consistency of the creme brulee... Really easy to do, relatively fast and truly delicious in the end.

As a presentation she normally puts some caramelized sugar on top, but this time she had a lemon peel and some cinnamon. The cinnamon gave it a really good flavor.
