I love Chile Rellenos. So I am going to share with you guys how to make this chile relleno with home made sauce.
First of all you will need the peppers to stuff them. You can just get any large green pepper, you have to get the right ones. I can`t even remember what they`re called, but since I already know which ones they are, I just go straight to the am the supermarket.
You will also need quezo fresco, eggs, flour, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and salt. Start by rubbing the chiles in oil, then drizzle salt on top of them. Put them in the over on the highest setting, pretty much on broil. Keep a watchful eye on them, as they could burn easily.
Once the little skins have boiled up, if you will, pull them out. Put the chiles in a plastic bag and tie it so they keep cooking in the closed plastic bag.
Next, start beating the eggs. First the whites, til they`re super thick and fluffy. Then add the yellow part of the eggs to it and beat them more. The beat will go flat for a bit but that`s why you gotta work fast after this.
At this point have someone peel, and take out the seed of the chiles, as you cut up the quezo fresco. Stuff the chiles with the quezo frezco, roll it in flour, dip it in the egg beat and get them in to hot oil. Take them out once the egg is fully cooked.
For the tomato sauce, simply boil the tomatoes. Blend them, chop some onion in small pieces along with cilantro and add it in the sauce with salt. And you`re done.
The rice, you can just do it how you`d like. Because it`s just rice. lol.
My pic. Do not take.
