Homemade Captain American Stud Earrings

So a couple of days ago, in the Design section, I blogged about my Mario Mushroom bracelets (check it out here: http://www.luuux.com/design/homemade-mario-mushroom-bracelets?blog_id=18019). Since that was an introduction to how I kind of made it, I put this post in the Fashion section instead :)
So I`m a huge fan of Marvel superheroes, especially when they are cute cartoon versions (yeah...I`m a bit weird). A while back, while at a mall, I stumbled upon the machines where you put in $2 dollars and you get a capsule and I saw the Marvel superhero ones! I ended up trying to collect all of them but it just wasn`t going my way T_T I ended up not collecting the whole collection (boo!).
So since I can make my own jewelry now, I decided to make my own collection of the Marvel Capsule cartoons! This is the first one that I made using this image as a guide for me while tracing (http://nerdapproved.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/marvel-capsule-toys.jpg?cb5e28). I plan to make the whole collection...even though I don`t know when I would wear them to be exact LOL.
So the first one I made is the Captain American one! At first, I was like I can`t make studs because I didn`t know where to purchase earring posts (the thing at the back of your stud earrings) but I ended up finding them at a jewelry supply store! It took me so long to figure out the sizing, the first try, I ended up making it too large for my ear and then the second time, it was too small to see the character, but the third time was the charm! They are currently have a diameter of 1.3 cm, which is perfect for my ears :)
I`m currently working on a Tokidoki version of the Avengers and hoping to make the earrings! I will post them up as soon as I`m done!
What do you think? Do you think its too childish? Would you wear these?

*Pictures are mines!

Thanks for reading :)
