Homemade Butter Pound Cake amp Recipe

I just can`t stop baking. My hands are itching to try and find the perfect recipe. Today, I tried baking my first butter pound cake and it was a success. At first I forgot how much flour I added so I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. This pound cake is very soft and fluffy and light. It almost melts in your mouth. I haven`t had a pound cake in ages so I forgot how it tastes like. I always used to get the pound cakes from costco but since I`m the only that eats it most of the time, I haven`t bought any. But today I just wanted to make my own and see how it tastes. And this recipe makes 3 loafs and I didn`t have enough loaf pans so I used a cake pan isntead. So let`s get started.

2 cups butter
3 cup white sugar
6 eggs
4 cups all purpose flour
2/3 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 3 8x4 loaf pans, then line with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until it becomes light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Then beat in the flour alternating with the milk, mixing until just incorporated.
Pour batter evenly into prepared loaf pans. Bake in the preheated oven for 70 mins or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. After removing from the oven, immediately loosen the cake edges with a knife. Allow to cool in pans for 10 minutes, then remove from the pans. Strip off the parchment paper and cool completely on wire racks.
