My parents hardly eat beef or pork so it`s pretty rare to see them eat beef today. They usually buy beef or pork for me and prepare it but they don`t eat it. They`re more of a chicken and seafood eater cause they`re health conscious now that they`re older.
Being health conscious, they chose to buy organic ground beef from Costco (it`s 85% lean, no added growth hormones: net weight 21.44oz) it came in a pack of 3 for ~ $18. Along with the organic ground beef, they also bought and prepared organic tomatoes (on sale at Sprouts for $1.99 a pound), organic lettuce at Costco (under $4), harvati cheese some ketchup and homemade mayonnaise.
SADLY, trying to be healthy... my dad bought white buns LOL! He said the wheat buns were too hard for his liking.. Oh whatever, my dad is just sick of eating wheat bread.
Overall: Dinner was yummy, I can`t really taste the difference between regular and organic meat but I`ll trust organic meat is better. And the meat took less than 6 minutes on the George Foreman grill so preparing and cooking burgers was a breeze! =)
