Oh I love baking. And this cake was made for my father in law. And I`m a fan of those cakes you find in asian bakeries and I was sooo happy when my co worker shared this recipe with me. The texture is exactly like the one you find in the bakeries and the taste to me is almost exactly the same (since I haven`t had one from the bakeries in almost 2 years) and if not better. Even my co worker said it tasted better than the ones they sell. One great thing about it is that it`s all natural and homemade. There`s none of those stablizier stuff that I heard was used in those cakes. So yeah..this cake was made with that recipe. I filled it with strawberries and topped it off with grapes, pinepapple, more strawberries, and peaches. I had put a more decorative strawberry in the center of the cake. It`s iced with realy whipped cream and with melted chocolate drizzled on the edges of the cake. Then I also wrote happy birthday in chinese. Everyone loved the cake and I had some relatives that were visiting and they actually thought I had bought the cake...lol.. I can`t wait for the next birthday so I can turn on my oven again..
