I used to eat out all the time (probably ~5 times a week!) and I felt so unhealthy. Starting late last year I started doing more grocery shopping for fresh ingredients and cooking at home more often. Now I probably only eat out once every 2 weeks, if even.
Tonight for dinner I made tacos. It was pretty quick and simple.
- taco shells from Trader Joe`s
- ground beef (I used 85-15%, but if you want to be more healthy use 90-10% or 95-5%)
- taco mix powder
- fresh tomatoes diced
- shredded cheese blend
- hot sauce!
I should have added some lettuce but I didn`t have any >_< I usually get my whole days worth of greens from my morning smoothie :)
I challenge you all to cook more than you eat out ^_^ it feels good and saves money, although very time consuming!
