Last week I visited a beauty salon, and after finishing my usual routine, I noticed that one of the ladies there had a basket with hand made products: solid shampoos, hand creams and hand made soaps, that were also on sale. They were made by one of her friends, and the lady actually recommended these products: they were made only of natural products, no preservatives added.
The product that grabbed my attention was a solid regenerating shampoo, with essential pine and mint oils. It also contains soy oil (recommended for dry skin, it has a calming effect on the skin), green clay (reduces the levels of sebum produced by the scalp), castor oil (natural treatment for growing and thickening hair), essential mint oil (good for refreshing, energizing and invigorating) and pine oil (indicated for treating stress and tiredness).
It was the first time that a tried a solid shampoo and I was impressed on how good it lathered. It is easy to use, smells amazing, although I have to admit that it made my hair super clean, stripping all the oils, so you really have to use a conditioner after. I paid about 3 dollars, and it is a product very comparable to Lush products. I will repurchase it, once I visit my salon again.
