Home made hair masks

The last few months I have not been kind to my hair, dying, blowdrying, straightning etc. Because of that it broke, has no shine and it`s not healthy anymore.

So time to treat my hair well and have it in a good condition. Therefore I want to share a few lovely home made hair masks. These are so good for your hair and you see results quickly as the hair is hungry for these ingredients!

1. Yoghurt hair mask
For dry, frizzed out hair. This recipe will bring back the moisture, leaving your hair silky and managable.

- 1 egg white
- 1/4 cup of organic yoghurt
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise

- Beat egg white until frothy
- Mix with yoghurt and mayonnaise
- Massage into wet hair
- Cover with plastic shower cap or plastic wrap
- Leave in for 30 minutes, then wash it out with mild shampoo
- Rinse with very cold water
- Use monthly to moisturize hair

2. Coconut cream mask
Take a large amount of pure coconut cream/oil in your hand and massage it into you hair. Wrap you hair in a warm towel and leave it on for an hour. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo.

3. Banana and almond mask
Mash a ripe banana, add a few drops of almond oil and mix it well. Massage into you hair. Leave it in for 15 tot 30 minutes and wash wit a gentle shampoo

4. Honey an olive oil mask
Mix 3 tablespoons of olive oil with 2 tablespoons of honey. Mix it and massage into your hair. Wrap you hair in plastic and leave it for 30 minutes. As usual wash you hair with a gentle shampoo.

These are quick and fun to make and are so good for you hair.
I hope you enjoy these!
