Who hasn`t dreamed of holding and cuddling an adorable giant panda cub? If you thought it was completely impossible, you need to visit Chengdu`s Panda Breeding Center. Just opt for the tour and you will get to spend a day with the pandas! Granted, you won`t be holding them the entire day, but you still get to see them. The holding thing is optional.
The tour starts you off by leading you through a full overview of a panda`s development. You will see baby pandas and end with full grown pandas. After that, you are led to the red pandas` enclosure. They`re usually in the trees, so keep your eyes open.
And, finally, at the end of the tour (which is probably what everyone has been waiting for) you get to take a picture holding a baby panda! The panda cub will range anywhere from 6 months to 1 year of age, so they could still be pretty big. But who would ever turn down an opportunity like this?! I know I wouldn`t!
The panda cub photo session isn`t free, but who cares what it costs?! You get to a hold an adorable panda cub! I can`t stress that enough. And if you do hand over the money for the session, it all goes to help the breeding center to keep up what they are doing. Holding a panda and helping pandas? How can you possibly say no?
In case you are interested in costs:
Panda Tour: $42.99
Tour + Panda holding photo session: $329.99
Okay... so the panda thing is expensive, but I would do it if I had the chance. Wouldn`t you? After all, you are probably there on vacation!
