is basically a Hong Kong street food.
The name suggests that it`s basically a thick soup made with shark fin. However, as it is illegal to buy shark fin in Canada not to mention its expensive, most use 100% vermicelli or some form of clear noodle that imitates the shark fin texture.
This bowl was from a food court in First Markham Place, a Chinese Mall in Markham.
It`s about $3.75 a bowl that comes with a side of noodles which my boyfriend loves.
I love this soup! It`s exceptionally thick and has strips of chicken as well as tofu. It`s very different than what you would expect.
What do you guys think?
