Hello everyone! Emmy Rossum recently went out in NYC in a chic and colourful ensemble. Emmy donned a mixed-print Carolina Herrera knee-length dress, which features a plaid top and green pencil skirt bottom. She added on a pair of nude Christian Louboutin sandals, and finished her look off with a pair of gold earrings and a gold bangle. I think this look is a Hit for me! Mixing different patterns and textures has always been a big trend in fashion but it seems like hardly anybody can pull it off. I really like how Emmy Rossum went with a classic, tailored feminine silhouette when mixing patterns because it makes the outfit look very polished instead of avant-garde. The top portion of the dress is very cute; I love the mix of colours within the actual plaid pattern. The skirt is a great complementary bottom, because if you look closer it`s actually made out of a very small plaid print. The green colour also works great with the yellow and blue within the top, and gives the whole dress a very spring garden dress feel. The sandals further pump up the springtime feel, but they don`t clash with the dress due to their neutral colour. What do you guys think of Emmy`s outfit? Is it a Hit or Miss?
