How are you?
One of my favourite restaurants in Lisbon is called Himchuli and is based in Nepalese kitchen.
Began as an Italian restaurant but clients knew that the cook was Nepalese and started calling for typical dishes of his country so they decided to change the restaurant - lucky me!
I love their chicken dishes especially the braised chicken (that you can see in the second picture) or the chicken curry and my husband always eat their chicken with cashew and mango (third picture) all the dishes are accompanied by steamed basmati rice which is always loose and flavoured with cardamom (they come to table in cute little pots that you can see in the photos).
For desert we always ask for their Cream Pudding with cashew and berries is so delicious!!
The place is very tiny (around thirty people) and you need to knock at the door to enter but the food and environment are great! If you want to try a different cuisine I highly recommend you this restaurant you should also make a reservation because it`s always fully booked!
