So.. what`s good for you doesn`t taste good right? That`s what this tea tastes to me, very bitter but it`s supposedly really healthy for you. I am sort of getting used to it now. This tea is called Hibiscus Tea or also known as rosella, roselle. It`s supposed to be like a cranberry flavor but if you want to make it more drinkable add some sugar then when you adapt to the drink, drink it straight up like my parents.
Benefits of hibiscus?
- Lower high blood pressure
- Reduce cholesterol
- Rich in Vitamin C
- Strengthening immune system
- And so forth [just look up benefits of Hibiscus/Hibiscus tea and you`ll see a lot of information]
Have you ever tried Hibiscus tea before?
Where can you find hibiscus? It took my parents a long time to find hibiscus dried leaves but they finally found some at Food 4 Less. They use to sell these in prepackaged bag but now it`s by the pound. I recently stocked up for my parents and it`s currently $4.98 a lb. The leaves are light so you get a lot for the price.
