I am really excited to post my first restaurant review. I consider myself a food connoisseur. Sadly I`m on somewhat of a diet and I`m trying to get healthy.
Hendel`s Market Cafe and Piano Bar is located in old Florissant, Mo. I took my sister as my lunch date. Now I usually don`t try local places. I really don`t know why. But St. Louis has so much good food to offer I`m definitely going to start divulging into these local eateries. Hendel`s is the cutest restaurant nestled in between a quaint little neighborhood.
What we ordered:
Me - Chicken Salad ( mayo, celery, pecan, croissant) - $8
Sis - Quiche (Chef`s quiche with soup) - $8
I always ask any waiter/waitress what their favorite item on the menu is. Its habit now, the majority of the team I take there suggestions just to try something different. The waiter suggested the chicken salad. And THANK GOODNESS he did. It was delicious!!!! Just the right of mayo, celery and pecans. It was so light and delicious. I did snag a piece of my sister`s quiche, it was light and fluffy and packed with onions, spinach, and bacon. I almost wanted to order another plate for myself lol. So if anyone is ever in the area you should check this place out.
For the 21 and over crowd they offer a happy hour as well.
