Cornstarch is usually added to help thicken sauces or soups when you cook.
This is a great replacement for cornstarch that I found =).
It happened by accident when I was cooking a cream sauce for lunch and I wanted to add some extra fibre in my food.
Try using Benefibre Inulin rather than cornstarch. Just replace 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with inulin and you not only decrease the simple carbs in your diet, you increase your soluble fibre intake by 3g per teaspoon which is 8% of your daily fibre needs. You need 25g of fibre everyday to keep your digestive system healthy and in check =)
A bottle of 105 servings of inulin is about $12.99 which is a bit on the pricey side but for the added benefit, it`s worth it!
Try this next time for a healthy kick.
Hope that helps!
