What makes an apple healthier than a donut? What really is the difference between a food that builds ones health and the one that does not? This distinction is essential, since many children and elders alike consume over half their diet as highly process, empty calorie foods. And not just at home, but even from the junk foods at school. One of the reasons why people turn to raw food is because they are looking to eat more healthy food. Eating raw food however, does not mean its necessarily healthier than other ways of eating.
