I went on a shopping trip to Jungle Jims and picked up some organic and vegan items that will make the perfect addition to my pantry.
Smart Bacon: Soy "bacon" its very good, in my opinion it taste like regular meat bacon. It consist of 20 calories per strip. I purchased for about 3 dollars
Organic tomato sauce: Gluten free, no sugar added, and absolutely delicious. Its about 5 dollars but its very worth it. For anyone who is a bit budget conscious making your own tomato sauce is always a great option. I think I am going to make my own sauce and upload the recipe.
Pasta Zero: I bought two bags of this one for me and one for my mom. It is a Shirataki Fettuccine. Its 20 calories for 1/2 cup of pasta and it taste like regular pasta. The only thing that I am getting used to is the texture. The texture is very slimy and thin, its a difficult texture to describe but I can`t wait to continue working this into my diet. This cost about 3 dollars
Miracle rice: this is a zero calorie rice. It taste like rice but once again it has the same texture as the pasta because it is made out of the same items. It is Shirataki Rice. It is about 3 dollars and unlike dry pasta you are supposed to keep this in the refrigerator.
