Last month The Body Shop was having a sale and I wanted to take advantage of it because I wanted to try out more of their skin care products. I wasn`t really sure what to get. The only skin care line that I`ve tried from them is the Tea Tree one. It works pretty well for me. I have a cleanser and the tea tree oil from that particular line. I don`t see the cleanser doing much for my skin, but I really like the tea tree oil. It works really well for my acne prone skin. Anyways, they were having a sale on these Starter Kits; I figured why not give them a try and sample some new products. Each skin care line has its own kit. The kit includes travel sized cleansers, lotions, etc. I picked up two kits to try out. The kits are originally $25, but I purchased them for $18 each.
Seaweed Skin Care Starter Kit:

- Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash
- Seaweed Clarifying Toner
- Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream
- Seaweed Clarifying Night Treatment
- Reusable blue mesh bag with zip closure

The Seaweed Skin line is targeted towards balancing your sking and controlling shine. "Balance your skin and control shine with these TSA-approved Seaweed favorites featuring wild-harvested seaweed from Ireland." I already tried out the facial wash and the day cream and, so far, I`m really liking both products. The facial wash leaves my skin feeling very clean, but not squeaky clean and it doesn`t leave a tight feeling on my face. Rather, my skin feels very soft and moisturized after using it.
Aloe Starter Kit:

- Aloe Calming Facial Cleanser
- Aloe Calming Toner
- Aloe Soothing Day Cream
- Aloe Soothing Night Cream
- Reusable green mesh bag with zip closure

"Soothe and calm your sensitive skin with these travel-friendly Aloe favorites featuring the worlds first fair-trade aloe vera." Aloe is every acne prone person`s best friend. At one point, my skin was pretty bad so my mom suggested I used fresh aloe on my face. Basically, I cut open a fresh aloe leaf, rub it over my face, let it dry a little, and then wash it off. I did this for awhile and my skin cleared up a lot. I also drank fresh aloe that my mom blended. It`s definitely an acquired taste and the consistency is gross (it`s really slimy), but it did wonders for my skin. Since I`m not really at home these days, I don`t have access to fresh aloe. So I decided to try out this Aloe skin care line to see if I will get the same results.
