Hi everyone! So Sephora is having one of its percentage off sales, and this time is 15% off for VIBs and Rouge and 10% off for BIs. As a Rouge member, I was able to get the 15% off card and was able to shop the sale before VIBs and BIs. I have a running list of things that I want to pick up from Sephora at any given time, so my mom and I went to our local store and did some heavy damage. I believe the sale has already started for VIBs and BIs keep your eyes peeled for an email or mailed card with your code.
What I picked up:
>> Kat Von D Contour and Highlight Brush ($36): I have really been into contouring and highlighting lately, and since I also picked up the KVD Contour palette, I thought this would also be a nice brush to add to my collection. Normally I`m not a big fan of double-ended brushes because they are a pain to store, but this one comes with its own case.
>> Kat Von D Shade and Light contour palette ($46): This has gotten a lot of love on YouTube so I decided to get this and try it out for myself. I already have the Anastasia of Beverly Hills contour kit, but I`m liking how large the pans are in this palette.
>> Kat Von D Shade and Light eyeshadow palette ($46): This came out just before the sale started and was only available to Rouge and VIB members, however, it was available to any in-store when I went last Monday and it is currently available to everyone now on the website. I have really liked the Monarch and Interstellar palettes from KVD, and this one features all neutral matte shades!
>> Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette ($49): It isn`t new by any means, but I have been wanting to pick up this palette since it was released and I`m very interested in playing with the `Blueberry Swirl` shade. This comes in a metal tin like the original palette, but it is slimmer in size. The magnetic closure on this one isn`t very good though.
>> Becca Lowlight/Highlight Perfecting Palette press ($42): Sephora has started to carry more of the Becca products, and one of the newer ones is this pressed version of their highlight and contour palette. It features a cool brown for contouring and their `Opal` highlighter.
What my mom purchased (not pictured):
>> Marc Jacobs highlight/contour duo in `Mirage` ($47)
>> Sephora brand eyeshadow primer ($14)
Now it seems like this would cost a lot of money, but do you want to know how much I paid out of pocket for just the items I purchased? $14! Yes, I only spent $14 for about $220 worth of cosmetics. I have been collecting Sephora giftcards through the app Viggle and was saving them for such a sale and went to town!
Thanks for reading! What did you pick up from Sephora during this sale?
