a week or so, a site called embly was giving away $10 credit at http://beauty.com. (i saw this on my favorite coupon & bargains blog, hip2save.) i took this as an opportunity to pick up a NARS blush i`ve had my eye on for a while. http://beauty.com is also running a $10 off $50 purchase deal through the new year, but it just so happens NARS is an exclusion, whereas there were no exclusions with this credit. i`ve been thinking about getting tarte exposed, but one of my favorite fashion and beauty bloggers says she recently got it and it`s pales in comparison to NARS madly. i`ve heard about how amazing madly is, but i`ve also seen it in sephora so many times and never felt too excited about it. then, i did some research, and i feel like it would be something i would love. it`s a very neutral, natural color that really transforms once it`s on your face. if all else fails, http://beauty.com has a good return policy! i also got free shipping, which applies to most orders over $25. i got my purchase in two or three days, which is FANTASTIC. it was well packaged and in perfect condition :) so basically i got the blush for less than $20 shipped, including tax, which sadly californians now have to pay :( that`s a heck of a lot better than buying the same blush at sephora! on top of all that, 11% cash back on my purchase through http://shopathome.com, so basically i got a little extra back even on top of getting tax back. (http://www.shopathome.com/?IAFCG=hB1djgr68TmcBGLT5DDjxA== that`s totally up to you though!) i will post swatches and photos of how it looks on my face once i`ve tried it. i haven`t opened it yet except a few times to take photos and just to look at it since it`s such an intriguing color. it`s very plain, and i`m very curious to see if it really does amazing things for my cheeks as it has for everyone else`s. does this look like a color you would be interested in checking out? *all photos taken with flash except the last one. flash makes the blush look like it`s the same color as my desk, which it`s NOT. (that would not be good as my desk is a natural wood finish LOL)
