Hi everyone! A few weeks ago my mom and I were out shopping at the Great Mall in Milpitas and I came across this cute purse at the Michael Kors outlet. Unfortunately I didn`t grab it that day, but went out to the Vacaville outlet mall to check it out again. They say if you`re contemplating a purchase to sit on it for a day or two, if you keep thinking about it then you really want it. When I went to the Vacaville Michael Kors outlet, this particular color was not on display, so I asked a sales associate if there were anymore and they had just gotten a shipment in the previous day so I was in luck!
If you are ever going to be making a purchase from the Michael Kors outlet, or visit the outlet malls in general, I recommend going to the outlet malls website, joining their free VIP club and getting their coupon booklet. If you sign up for the coupon booklet, you can visit the information center at the mall and get a free booklet filled with coupons to some of the stores. If you are not part of the VIP club the booklet is $5. That is what I did because I knew I would be making a purchase at the MK outlet and I saved a bunch.
What I purchased:
- Michael Kors Small Jet Set Satchel in Dark Olive: This was originally $239 at the outlet, but they had a 25% off promotion for the entire store which brought the price down to $179.25. What I love about this purse is the size and the color. It is a very dark olive green, but it is still neutral enough to go with almost everything. This will be a great little bag for the colder months. It is is the saffiano leather which is easier to maintain than regular leather. I do have a large Jet Set Satchel in the monogram print which is one of my favorite `toss and go` bags. The outlet does carry the large satchel, but the leather handles and trim are light cream instead of medium brown.
- Michael Kors Zippered Continental Leather wallet in Pearl Grey: This was $99 in-store, but with the 25% off promotion it was $74.25. My current wallet was falling apart and I loved the soft grey leather with the rose gold hardware.
Originally I was not going to purchase the wallet, but the coupon for the MK outlet featured an extra 20% off a purchase of $250 or more. With the purse being $179.25 and the wallet being $74.25, my total for the two was just slightly over $250, so I was able to get an extra $50 off my purchase, making the wallet practically $25, or 75% off the original price!
So if you are going to go to the outlets and possibly make big purchases, sign up for that free coupon booklet! There are lots of neat little deals in there and it doesn`t expire for a year or so. If you do use a coupon in there you can`t reuse it, but you can simply get a new booklet when you visit the mall again.
Thanks for reading!
