i know the opinion about these shoes remains quite divided, but i for one have wanted a pair ever since i saw them! and this is coming from someone who thinks the people on tumblr who keep posting photos of these shoes/people wearing these shoes/anything related these shoes should give it a rest!
for the longest time, i just lusted after them online. i finally managed to find a nordstrom that carried these and tried on a pair. ummmm... these shoes are RIDICULOUSLY comfortable. yes, the heel looks insane, but the platform more than compensates. i swear these are significantly more comfortable than the majority of flat shoes i own because i actually find the little arch to make my feet feel better. the only thing that makes them a little tricky is just the overall height of the shoe, but i definitely don`t feel any pain. (then again, i`m used to pretty painful heels... like my louboutins... sigh.)
i contemplated getting these from revolve clothing for a very long time since they have 30% off for new customers. urban outfitters had an online sale a while back though and i took it as a sign... it was time for me to get a pair!
while i love the black ones, i just can`t get over the light heel that contrasts so much with the black leather. i`m much more comfortable with the taupe suede, and i know it`ll be more versatile. a great pair of nude shoes will always work, plus i can even wear these in the summer with shorts and skirts to elongate my legs! i have short, stubby legs with huge calves (literally the most unattractive legs ever), and i just feel like the black would emphasize this too much.
what are your thoughts on litas: like, dislike, mehhhh? i showed them to my best friend on skype and she said they were the most hideous shoes i could pay that much money for, so you won`t hurt my feelings if you tell me your honest opinion ;)
