I recently met up with some friends and we decided to go to the mall. I don`t usually go to the mall, let alone shop for clothes at the mall, so this was an interesting day for me. I ended up buying a few things from Forever21 and Charlotte Russe.
I`ve been inside Charlotte Russe before but I`ve never bought anything from there so this is my first purchase from them! I bought a blazer for $20, top for $10, and skirt for $12.99. My friends kind of pressured me into buying this. It`s definitely a step out of my comfort zone (style and price) with these clothes but I like it. Blazers are tough to wear where I live since it`s so humid and hot and I don`t usually wear clothes that make me look my age but I decided to take the plunge and purchase at least one outfit that makes me not look like a high schooler. I don`t know when I`ll ever wear these pieces but I don`t want my money to be wasted so I`ll make myself wear them. :P
Forever21 has some good deals on basics which is mainly what I was looking for because their other stuff seemed really expensive for the quality of fabrics and construction. I don`t get this sheer trend going on with Spring fashion but I`m not gonna pay $15 for a flimsy see-through shirt. I only bought a tank top for $4 and found a sweater in the clearance section for $5.99. I like buying jewelry from there but they tarnish too quickly so I`ve been trying to find ways to protect them.
