Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones! Can you believe 2014 is almost over?! It`s been quite an exciting year for me, so hopefully that momentum continues through 2015.
A few weeks ago, ColourPop was having a 20% off sale on their 4-pan shadow palettes and I took the opportunity to purchase ones I`ve had my eye on. This actually isn`t my first ColourPop haul, but since this one features a holiday release I figured this one would be posted about first.
If you haven`t heard of ColourPop, they are gaining popularity in the beauty community for being amazing quality for only $5 a piece! Everything on their website is only $5, which is a pretty good price considering what other companies charge. Right now they sell pressed eyeshadows, lip crayons and coordinating lip pencils. Again, everything is $5 and the free shipping minimum is $30.
So during this sale, all four-pan palettes were 20% off, which is a pretty good deal on top of amazing prices. Some of the sets contain shadows from their existing line-up, so if you already own some of these shadows, check your stash before purchasing these sets!
What I picked up:
>> Nix the Nice (Holiday release, $20 regularly): Glitterati (limited edition, silver with gold glitter), La La (limited edition, rose gold), Hot Totty (limited edition, cherry red), Roulette (permanent, matte black)
>> Megan Naik x ColourPop collab palette (permanent, $20 regularly): Onai (creamy white with glitter), Lectra (burgundy with glitter), Amira (antique gold) and Farah (matte brown). [All of these shades are permanent, but not sold individually]
I have tried some of the shadow singles from my previous ColourPop haul and they are definitely amazing! They are super smooth to the touch, almost like a cream but it`s a pressed powder product. The pigmentation is excellent and lasts well over primer. These shades are probably no exception.
Thanks for reading! Have you tried any ColourPop cosmetics before?
