Hi everyone! Previously I wasn`t interested in Clarins as a brand, and had never seen a Clarins Outlet, but this past April a Clarins Outlet store actually opened at the Livermore Outlet Mall so I decided to poke my head in and see what they had. They actually have some nice makeup products, but I think they are mostly known for their skincare.
While I was there, they were having a promotion on certain products, including this Holiday 2013 eyeshadow palette. I`m not sure how much this palette was retailing for when it came out last year, but I purchased it for $25.
The palette features 10 eyeshadows, with 8 being shimmery and 2 being matte. What may be the downside of this palette is that there isn`t any darker, matte shades to add dimension to your looks. It`s almost an eyeshadow palette of shadows I would use for the lid area. I not really bothered by that since I can supplement it with something like the Naked Basics palette which is pretty small, but that is something to consider if you come across this palette, or really any other palette you purchase.
As far as packaging, it`s nothing special: cardboard packaging closed by an elastic band. It`s pretty cheap looking and feeling, actually. It also comes with a double-ended eyeshadow brush but that is nothing spectacular either.
Thanks for reading! Have you tried any Clarins products? What did you think of them?
