Hi everyone! Today I`m showing you the newest highlighter to my collection, this is the Chanel Camelia de Plumes highlighter that was released for winter/holiday 2014. This is my first Chanel highlighter and it is definitely the most expensive highlighter in my collection.
What makes this highlighter unique is that it`s not gold, champagne, pink or silver. It`s sort of a weird mix of gold and silver that makes it a cool-toned gold highlighter. Generally gold highlighters have yellow tones in it to give it warmth, but this is sort of a white gold type of shade. It`s very unique, which is why I ended up purchasing it.
This was not cheap at $72, but I had two $25 Macy`s giftcards and some rewards cards from a previous promotion. Ebates was also offering 6% cash back, so I paid about $4 out of pocket after all was said and done.
Camelia de Plumes is a limited edition item, so I don`t know if it`s still available but I highly recommend checking it out because of its unique color.
Thanks for reading! What are some of your favorite highlighting powders?
