I work in a hospital and one of the things I enjoy about it is the fact that I get to wear scrubs! They`re so comfy it`s like wearing jammies to work! However, I`m not a big fan of some of the patterns they come in at stores, so my mom suggested that we start making some!
We had a lot of coupons for Joann Fabrics, so we picked up a MacCall`s scrub pattern for free and a bunch of fabrics on a Memorial Day discount!
This is a scrub top I made with a kitty cat fabric. I love it because it`s so adorable! I swear, I`m gonna be a freakin` cat lady someday. We had to modify the pattern a bit because even the size Small was too big for me, but it ended up working out fine! I love it! The only part of the pattern that gave us trouble was the neckline, but we just did it our own way and it turned out fine. We also decided to only put pockets on the bottom near the hemline rather than adding one other as a breast pocket.
If you work in a hospital, these scrubs are pretty easy to make and look very unique!
Photos are my own.
