Halloween treats

Here are a few little treats you can make for halloween(: just quick&&simple.

You`ll need ;;
WHiTE chocolate.
food colouring.
rice crispies { you could use cornflakes or wheat flakes }.
smarties or something for decoration(:
cake cases.

-Melt the white chocolate in a bowl.
-Add a drop of food colouring, not to much or it will taste yuckyy.
-Mix in the rice crispies and put into cake cases.
-Add smarties to the top, pick out halloween colours like green and orange(:
-Put in fridge until you want to eat them.

You`ll need ;;
2OO grams of popped popcorn.
6O grams of mini marshmellows.
14O grams of peanuts.
45O grams of chocolate {chopped}.
-This recipe should serve twelve, but if you don`t have a mini muffin tin just use mini cake cases on a plate{thats what I do}.

-Lightly butter a twelve cup mini muffin tin. Divide the popcorn, marshmellows and peanuts between the tins.
-Melt the chocolate.
-Put some of the chocolate on to each little cake thing.
-If you have extra marshmellows or peanuts put them on top.

Theres a few ways you can do this, you can always buy some toffee apples and decorate them with melted chocolate, smarties, marshmellows, sprinkles and whatever else to them or you can make them yourself.

You`ll need ;;
6 apples.
6 wooden lolly pop sticks.
4 (1OOg) packets of original toffee.
2 tablespoons of water.
1/2 teaspoon on vanilla extract.

-Insert wooden sticks 3/4 of the way into the stem end of each apple.
Place the apples on a tray covered with foil, lightly greased.
-Put the water and toffee in a saucepan over a low heat. Cook and stir until smooth then stir in the vanilla.
-Dip each apple in the toffee and get rid of excess toffee by scraping it around the inside of the pan.

3 table spoons of margarine
4 cups of mini marshmallows {or 1O oz large marshmallows, about 4O}
6 cups rice crispies
orange and brown m&ms/smarties.

-Melt margarine in a large saucepan over low heat.
-Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
-Add cereal and stir until well coated.
-Add the m&m`s/smarties and mix until they are mixed in.
-Spray a pan with non-stick cooking spray or line with waxed paper. Using a buttered spatula or waxed paper, press the mixture evenly into a pan. Cut into squares when cool.
-You can add icing{i think americans call it frosting?} to them to make them look like ghosts/pumpkins/cats or something(:

You can use those halloween sweets you get to decorate if you want, I got the toffee apple recipe from http://allrecipes.co.uk but the rest I made last year {they we`re saved on my computer} and can`t remember where I got them from.
