Halloween Makeup Tutorials

Hey our wonderful followers! How are you all? I`m so sorry I haven`t been on! I have a cold (ugh) and my headache just gets worse and worse every time I look at the computer. Sorry about that! Anyway, on to the tip!v

Halloween time brings that fabulous period where people can go absolutely crazy with their makeup. And be extremely creative with it. If you want to do a Halloween makeup look it might be best to actually lock yourself in your room and play with every thing you`ve got. But sometimes you run out of inspiration. The following can be used as your inspiration! OR you can just follow the directions specifically for a cool look.

Some of these looks get fairly complicated but thee are some that are extremely, extremely simple. Also, now that not all of these are SCARY, f your looking for a simple makeup look to go with your costume this will work good too. I`ll be doing a part two of this so if you have a look you want me to include in that just say so!

Granted, this will NOT be the most flattering look, hell, your trying to look like your dead. So if your going to be trying to score a man on that halloween party than this won`t be look for you. This look is more of the classic halloween theme. Fear. Gory. It`s fantastic!

Like I mentioned, your trying to look dead. Which means no sparkly setting powder k?

Use a pale pale foundation, like, the palest that you have.

Now rub it in ALL over your face, heavily.

Keep your foundation matte, I don`t know if there are any shimmery foundation but if there are, you still wouldn`t want to use it for this look.

You`ll want your eyes to look sunken in, like you haven`t slept in days.

Dark burgundy eye shadow around the lash line, use an angled lash brush and smudge the color in a thick line all around.

Take a medium purple shadow and with a small brush dab the purple lightly and sparingly around your burgundy.

Blend it out girly! Okay, well you actually don`t want to blend your eyeshadow TOO much, in fact you`ll want each color to be distinctive, but you don`t want a really really sharp line.

For your cheeks, you want them to look sucked in, like you haven`t eaten in forever. This is the most important part of the look.
Suck your cheeks like your doing the fishy face. See where your cheeks naturally sink in? That`s where you`ll want to contour.

Start an inch from the mouth and contour up toward your hair line.

Using a large eyeshadow will work best but a blush brush will work well too. A blush brush will look very natural, especially if you use it by squeezing the bristles to create a thin fanned out line and swipe the bronzer onto the area.

A matte bronzer applied pretty heavily will work best.

You want your lips to be pretty nude, if you would like the look to be a bit more flattering (zombies usually don`t look all that great so if you want the look to be more halloween-esque keep it matte)

First coat your lips with concealer and foundation. Then clear lip gloss (optional)

Alice is all about natural and innocent beauty. She`s young and understated. So no big bright colors, bright neon pink lips or anything like that. Just gorgeous innocence.

You`ll want to apply a natural foundation all over.

Keep in mind that Alice`s skin was not porcelain, it was more of a rosy shade. So you don`t want to apply too much.

This look depends more on your cheeks rather than your eyes so use a light hand and keep it natural. You`re trying to achieve a bit of a doe-eye like look but you want it to be fairly understated too.

First apply a neutral eye shadow all of your entire eyelid.

Next, pat on a deeper shade than your neutral shadow into your crease.

Use a very very light shadow on our inner eye to brighten it all up.

Thinly line your upper lash with black or brown eye liner (THINLY) just over 3/4 of your lash line. you don`t want to line your inner corner. Smudge it just a smidgen.

Finally, sweep 2 coats or mascara on your lashes, concentrate the mascara at the middle part, as to create doe-like eyes. Then sweep the middle lower lashes a bit with your mascara too-too create the doe-eyes a bit more.

Like I said, this look is all about the cheeks, so pay attention here.

First you`ll want to use a cheek stain in a pretty cotton candy-like pink such as Tarte Cosmetics Cheek Stain in Doll Face here`s so you can see it: http://www.polyvore.com/cheek_stain/thing?id=54592591

Now apply a shimmery cotton candy pink blush over the apples of your cheeks, blending very carefully.

To balance your makeup, you want your lips to be semi-understated. Because your cheeks are very dramatic and your eyes will be next in line.

Exfoliate your lips very very very well, you want to look young and very vital and even though your probably just a teen, the difference shows. So exfoliate your lips the best you can.

Now, simply use a sheer gloss. A pretty soft pink shade will do :)

This is a really cutsie fun look using face paint or a strange collection of colored foundation (but I don`t think anyone actual has pure white foundation). It`s too be used with any bunny costume.

Use white cream makeup all over your face--this can easily be regular old face paint or actual makeup.

Draw a upside down heart on your nose using a soft pink lip pencil or lipstick--or face paint, of course.

You want your eyes to be pretty simple. Nothing too complicated cause bunnies don`t have complicated eyes. got it?

Fake lashes and liner will do pretty well for a cutsie look :3

Use a bit of soft pink lush or face paint on each cheek (just a bit--for a rosy look)

Dot a bunch of little dots using an eyeliner pencil right in that area by the tip of your nose. So not on your actual cheek but on the inside of it.

Now draw three whiskers coming out from right by the tip of your nose.

Use nude lipstick with a bit of shine.

Now use black eyeliner and draw a sideways 3 over your lips and extended out a bit to your cheeks. Make sense?

Alrighty, so this will be the quintessence of vampires-the bloody, fierce "GiVE ME YOUR BLOOD!!!" Vampire, not the "ooh! Looky! I sparkly in the sunny! Skippy skippy yay yay!". But can be easily adapted to look that way--but I`ll get into that in the next halloween makeup.

Blend some of your regular liquid foundation with creamy white paint on a paper plate. The color you get will be a pallid version of your natural skin-tone causing your face to look lifeless,

Now slap this ALL over--be cautious around your eyes and make sure to cover your exposed neck too.

If you are adapted to wearing contacts or would like o dry it contacts for this look will go very well. If you can get your hands on one some great color choices will be all over black, red, gray, purple or all over white sans your pupil.

the choices for this are endless. You can seriously do anything. Have fun with it! Here are some ideas though.

A sharp winged out cat eye liner.

Dark purple smokey eyes.

dark and thick black kohl liner all around +fake lashes.

you want to get that sallow, sucked in cheeks most vampires have. You go about this by countouring your cheeks with a deepening brown shade.

First. A recipe for fake blood.
½ cup of warm water
1 ½ cups corn syrup
¼ cup corn starch or flour
6 tablespoons red food coloring
1 ½ tablespoons powdered cocoa (optional)

Begin by mixing together your warm water and corn starch (or flour). The starch will ensure a thicker consistency in your fake blood, making it all the more realistic. After you`ve blended the two together and eliminated any clumps, add the corn syrup and mix well.
Once the paste is smoothly blended, gradually add your red food coloring, spoon by spoon until you have reached the desired level of redness. Generally, a brighter red will produce the outstanding effect you`re trying to achieve. Finally, add the powdered cocoa if you like, to give a slightly brown tinge to the blood (as real blood carries a brownish-red quality). Keep some fake blood in a disposable vile with a mini compact paint brush for the day, so that you may easily reapply as needed.

Apply any red lip stain to the center of your lips .

Optionally, you could actually use any black color to your lips instead. This embellishes the gothic vampire thing.

Now, using a simple paint brush with a fine tip, dabble the fake blood in a downward motion from your blood stained mouth. Simply paint on bloody lines and at the ends leave heavier droplets. This will achieve the look of a hungry vampire who just finished their little meal :{ << Vampire fangs

Finally, grab some vampire fangs from like, anywhere that`s selling halloween stuff, and pop them in!

So this is the "ooh! Looky! I sparkly in the sunny! Skippy skippy yay yay!" vampire look. The Twilight vampires. Personally I don`t really like the whole Twilight thing. I read the book, yes (I agree, it was a good book) but I still laugh at the whole vampires who sparkle thing. Oh! And the fact that Robert Paterson played the sexy, strong beast in the movie. Doesn`t make sense to me! Anyway! The look!

You`ll want to do the exact same thing you did with the blood thirty vampire look above. I`ll copy and past it and save you the trip of scrolling back up.

{Blend some of your regular liquid foundation with creamy white paint on a paper plate. The color you get will be a pallid version of your natural skin-tone causing your face to look lifeless,

Now slap this ALL over--be cautious around your eyes and make sure to cover your exposed neck too.}

Okay, and when your done with that you are going to take some sparkles and dust it all over your face. Tiny little fleck sparkles will do best-as to say, don`t use like freaking sequins here.

Some red or carmel colored contacts will do good here.

Other than that, you kind of want your eye make up to be semi-normal.

I don`t think Edward or the blunt of them have sallow cheeks but if you want to go for it any way, use the same technique you did for the blood thirsty vampire.

Nothing special here, hell, you can get away with just some Chapstick really!

Just a simple little kitty look. Something you might use if your not going to really get dressed up but still want to get into the spirit of Halloween. Or you can use it for an actual Kitty costume (perhaps a Mean Girl inspired look? --i.e. skimpy clothes, black tail, and ears.) Either way, it`s up to you.

Nothing special here! Just your normal foundation routine and what not. This look is very very simple.

You want a big thick black winged out eye liner look. It`s called cat eye for a reason.

Thinly line the lower water line with black.

Simple mascara will work well to wrap it all up.

Start with applying a bronzer only to the apple of your cheeks--really layer it on here girly!

Now take a brown liner and draw three whiskers on each side of your face. Also, draw a tiny upside down triangle on the tip of your nose.

&+ LiPS

You can either go cutsie with a soft pink lipstick or go bold and beautiful with a red lip stick. Either will work well!

Apply a really cool colored foundation, you want your skin to be very pale.

Dust on some sparkles wear you would normally put highlighter. (So your T-zone, just below you eye brows, in a triangle below your eyes, just above your chine bone, and the middle of your chin).

For this look your can have A LOT of fun with your eyes. Honestly I`d advice you too play with it. The best colors to use would be silver, white, and ice blue. Experiment with making swirls using white, silver or ice blue eyeliner. If you don`t have any ideas for this I can make a small video on Youtube with me doing a Ice Queen like look but I`d also advice you to look on youtube. Theres a lot of cool Ice Queen makeup looks people are doing.

Apply a soft, pale pink blush on your cheeks. Shimmery will work the best :)

&+ LiPS

You can do this two ways;

First you can use really nude lipstick with a sparkly clear lip gloss.

Or, you can do a pale pink lip gloss on top of foundation covered lips.

So this look is the top right picture look. With the open zippered eye. I`m not organizing it like the last looks though I`m just going to explain how to do it.

Okay so first, with an eyeliner pencil draw wear you want your zipper to be. Paint the inside of it red with face paint. Now use anything red that you have. Red lipstick, red lip stains, eyeliner, and draw on the inside. Make the colors blotchy and varied, try to almost model it off of the picture. Next, wen your content with the results, get a zipper. They are sold in craft stores. Cut off the fabric border and take lash glue (the glue you`d use to put on fake lashes) and glue it onto the eyeliner outline. once its dry get some fake blood. (the recipe is above, under the Vampire look) and paint it onto the zipper and dab a little all around the zipper. Ta-Da!
