Last week, I went with my mother to Half Moon Bay, CA. I hoped it would have decent weather and hoped for the sun to be shining with sand in my toes. I was not expecting too much hopefully as I know that most Northern California beaches are not the best beaches around.
When we got to the beach, it seemed really nice as the place also had a campground, which seems interesting to me. And as we walked closer and closer to actual beach, it kept getting cooler and cooler. The wind was the worst of it all. It felt like a mist of ice passing by. I did bring a sweatshirt so I did have some shield and actually as time passed one could get used to it. The sun was out still, but the wind was the main factor to the super coldness. I did like the scenery of the beach and the sand was nice and cozy between my toes.
Overall, it was a nice place to go, but it was definitely better in the car looking out. It was a nice break from the summer heat.
